The Arizona Cardinals announced that the team has re-signed defensive tackle FROSTEE RUCKER to a one-year contract. In accordance with club policy, terms were not disclosed.
Rucker (6-3, 280) has played 57 games (22 starts) over the past four seasons with the Cardinals after joining the team as a free agent in 2013. For his career, Rucker has played 126 games (58 starts) in 11 NFL seasons, totaling 314 tackles, 20 sacks, eight forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and one interception. He has recorded nine sacks in four years with the Cardinals, including a career-best five sacks and two forced fumbles in 2014. Last season, he played in 13 games (one start) and had 25 tackles and a forced fumble.
The 33-year old Rucker entered the league with Cincinnati as a third-round pick (91st overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft out of USC. He spent six years in Cincinnati before signing with Cleveland as a free agent in 2012. In his lone season with the Browns, he started all 16 games and had 48 tackles and four sacks.
