How 'Friends' Helped The 2019 Arizona Diamondbacks

A few key members of the 2019 Arizona Diamondbacks are thanking Ross, Rachael, Joey, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe for their help. Sport Illustrated and Cronkite News report outfielder David Peralta and infielders Edwin Escobar and Wilmer Flores turned to television for help learning English.

Peralta and Flores both say the show 'Friends', along with other sitcoms helped them when they moved from their native Venezuela. Although it is unknown where the players stand on whether not Ross was right or wrong while he and Rachael were "on a break."

There are quite a few new faces in the D-Backs clubhouse this season so one of the most popular shows of the 90s could be helpful in building camaraderie between players. Zack Greinke strikes me as a 'Big Bang Theory' kind of guy.

The Snakes continue Cactus League play while gearing up for the 2019 campaign. Arizona moves into its post Paul Goldschmidt-era trying to develop new talent and improve on last seasons 82-80 finish.
