Tonight is the most consequential NBA Draft Lottery since the NBA world held its collective breath in 2003 for the Lebron James Sweepstakes.

That year, pre- social media, everyone expected the lottery to be won by the Cleveland Cavaliers but there really wasn't an outlet to express all the bottled up emotions when it actually happened.

Those were simpler times.

This year promises to be one of the most ridiculous in sports Twitter dot com history as all lottery fan bases except for one will meltdown toddler style after they miss out on the franchise and potentially history altering opportunity to have a front row seat to Zion Williamson.

What's all the fuss about? (Not that anyone is actually asking that but...)

He's going to be special and only one team can win the lottery.

Knicks fans have already taken their desperation to comical levels.

Can the Suns make it two years in a row like the Cavs did in 2013 and 2014?

They have a 14% chance, same as the Knicks and the Cavs.

Historically, the chances of winning the draft lottery do not favor the team(s) with the best odds. The Suns defied those last year making it mathematically even more unlikely this year that it would happen in consecutive years.

But, at least for a few more hours, Suns fans can dream.
