I've been going to MLB games pretty much my whole life and watching just as many first pitches wondering what it would be like to do it one day.
Today, I had that chance after being invited to throw out the first pitch before the Dbacks/Orioles game.
I was not allowed to go on the mound. I was allowed to Pipe It Up.
Please pay less attention to my dab, something my 3 year old asked me to do, and more on the reaction from Alex Young who may have lost feeling in his hand for a few seconds after the pitch.
I will lay my head on my pillow tonight knowing that I Piped It Up and won't have to pay for my children's therapy had they watched their father humiliate himself in front of a crowd (at least this time).
Huge thanks to the Diamondbacks and their entire staff who were all awesome.
