Did the Arizona Cardinals really just tie in their season opener?

Well, that was one wild ride we all went on. Just like your favorite Disneyland ride but without all the damn lines. The Cardinals outscored the Lions 21-10 in the 4th quarter and overtime to start their season with a 27-27 tie. At one point in the 4th quarter the Detroit Lions had a 99-percent chance to win.

What did we learn?

A) The Lions are not a very good football team, their defense clearly sat back in the second half and wasn't nearly as aggressive as they were early in the game

B) Larry Fitzgerald never ages. The 4th quarter may as well have been labeled the Fitz show as he was really the only good option for Kyler Murray to get the ball to late in the game. The future hall of famer finished with eight catches for 113 yards and a touchdown that would lead to a tie game. The Cardinals Do NOT force OT without Larry Fitzgerald

C) Kyler Murray has BALLS. This dude came in and threw 54 passes in his debut and did not let one of the worst first halves we have ever seen effect him. He got better as the game wound down

D) We had fun watching a Cardinals game for the first time since the 2015-16 season. 2019 will have its ups and downs but even those of us who may or may not have had this team winning only one game had to have a blast watching that football game.

What are the people saying?

But let’s all be honest the highlight of the day was Kyler Murray getting sacked by his own dude.
