Shooting Suspect Walks Into Police Station Covered In Blood

A man suspected of committing two shootings, just hours apart, in Missouri walked into a police station covered in blood and allegedly confessed to his crimes. Police say that 27-year-old Torry Andre Upchurch shot and killed 17-year-old Earle Key Jr. around 6 p.m. on Thursday (September 28) night.

Witnesses said that Upchurch knocked on the door of an apartment where the teen was staying and shot him in the face with a 9mm handgun, killing him instantly. Upchurch then fled the scene, and officers were unable to locate him.

At 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a another shooting a few miles away, where they found the body of 33-year-old Shantae Hill-Cook in the street with multiple gunshots wounds. Upchurch reportedly fled in her car before officers arrived at the scene.

A witness told investigators that Upchurch was in a romantic relationship with Hill-Cook

A few minutes later, Upchurch showed up at the Jefferson City police station driving Hill-Cook's car. He walked inside and told people in the lobby: “I know I committed two murders.” He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
