Thursday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington react to the latest ratings and attendance growth in the the NFL and give their theories as to why its' dominance is only growing.
Brady Quinn: "Big picture looking at our country, it feels like we're as divided as we've been in ways. So, I think you've got a group with Covid and everything going on, they're locked down, they're quarantining, so they're watching and consuming more. And then you've got this other end of the spectrum that's like, 'I don't want to be locked down. I feel like I've been locked down for a period of time. I need to get out there. I need to go to games. I need to experience life. I need to go to NFL games, support my players and all that,' and they want to go out to those events. And I don't know that there's many people in the middle."
LaVar Arrington: "It's almost like people are more comfortable being who they are. If I do fall on that side of it, I'm comfortable flying my colors and letting everybody know. If I'm on the other side of it, it's the exact same way."
Jonas Knox: "Also, the at home product is so good now. I know a lot of people, it's their social life, literally watching football, getting together and hanging out at somebody's house or going to a sports bar. That's their favorite thing they do all week."
