Devin Booker just had his Matt Damon moment

Phoenix Suns v Chicago Bulls

Devin Booker's almost been the talk of the sports world before. I mean, he did score 70 points, something only done by Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlain, David Thompson, David Robinson and Elgin Baylor before Booker. But, that was in a loss to the Celtics, during a year the Suns finished 24-58. I'm not sure Booker's performance even got play on national sports radio the next day.

I think they'll talk about this tomorrow.

The Suns even captioned their video, "If you don't know, now you do."

Booker's game-winner against the Clippers - with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George draped all over him - was Booker's Matt Damon, "It's not your fault," moment.

That scene was the moment Hollywood realzied it had a star. As a result, Good Will Hunting was Damon's first smash success, and he followed it up with Saving Private Ryan and Rounders. What a run. Of course, those close to Damon - like his buddy Ben Affleck - knew about his talent for years. But even with Affleck's Hollywood connections, it took an iconic scene for all of us to understand.

We're pretty simple, us humans. We latch onto big, memorable moments. Christian Bale in The Dark Knight Trilogy. Brad Pitt in Fight Club. Denzel Washington in Training Day. Devin Booker in The Bubble.

Of course, we've known about Devin Booker for a half-decade. He improved every year despite a revolving door at head coach, alternating teammates, and Eric Bledsoe's "I Don't wanna be here" tweet.

Now, finally, maybe the world is convinced.
