(VIDEO SEGMENT ABOVE)

Last Week's Blazin' 5 record: 3-2

2021 Blazin' 5 record: 26-30-1 (Colin made bonus picks in Week 4 & 5)

Raiders (5-5) at Cowboys (7-3) (SPREAD: DAL -7.5)

“I take one big favorite once a week and I’ll take the Cowboys -7.5. Tyron Smith is going to start at left tackle coming off an ankle injury. Dak at home with Tyron Smith healthy wins most of his games. CeeDee Lamb practiced on Wednesday and he’s probably back with Michael Gallup and Cerdrick Wilson. Dak at home this year has been a different quarterback with a 118 passer raring. It’s off a loss and the Raiders have everything from tragedy, chaos, and now an interim head coach. The last two weeks the Radiers are now converting just 12% of third downs. This is a freefalling Raiders team, and Dallas gets heathy and wins 30-20, swallow the points.”

Colin's prediction: Cowboys 30, Raiders 20.

Colin's pick: Dallas -7.5

Steelers (5-4-1) at Bengals (6-4) (SPREAD: CIN -4.5)

“I like to take Mike Tomlin as an underdog, he might be the NFL’s best underdog coach. I’ll take the points here. They get very healthy, TJ Watt is back, Joe Haden is back, and Minkah Fitzpatrick is back. The Steelers are 0-4 when TJ Watt doesn’t play, he is the MVP of this team. Big Ben in the last five games, because of Najee Harris and that young offensive line improving, has played well. His last five games he has 5 touchdowns and no picks. In fact, he’s the only starting quarterback in the league without a pick in the last five games. I think Pittsburgh wins straight up, take the points, 26-24.”

Colin's prediction: Steelers 26, Bengals 24.

Colin's pick: Pittsburgh +4.5

Jets (2-8) at Texans (2-8) (SPREAD: HOU -2.5)

“I like the Texans -2.5. When Tyrod Taylor is playing quarterback they don’t make a ton of mistakes. He can run for touchdowns and pass for them, they’re 2-1 when he plays, I think they’re playing really hard, they’re in a lot of their games, and I think they’re going to beat the Jets. This Jets team is so bad defensively, they’re last in virtually in everything. The Jets are allowing quarterbacks to have a 108 passer rating, and Tyrod Taylor has six touchdowns – he’s passed for 3 and he’s rushed for 3. Zach Wilson will be the third different quarterback in three weeks and there is no continuity in games. I’m going to take Houston to win and cover the spread, 30-23.”

Colin's prediction: Texans 30, Jets 23.

Colin's pick: Houston -2.5

Buccaneers (7-3) at Colts (6-5) (SPREAD: TB -3)

“I like the Colts at home getting a field goal. Brady is not the same quarterback since arriving in Tampa on the road. He’s great at home, he has the comfort, he moved his family, and he needs that comfort of home. It didn’t used to be the case but Brady not been a good road quarterback. The Colts take the ball away and don’t give it up. The Colts lead the NFL in turnover differential and Brady has had a little interception problem. Carson Wentz has a 97 passer rating this year and it’s getting better because Jonathan Taylor leads virtually every running back data point. We thought Buffalo’s defense was great but Taylor ran through it. The Bucs are coming off a short week and Antonio Brown may not play, and they are 2-3 without AB this year. Vita Vea is also hurt and their great guard Ali Marpet is hurt. I got Indianapolis winning the game outright, 27-21.”
Colin's prediction: Colts 27, Bucs 21.

Colin's pick: Indianapolis +3

Chargers (6-4) at Broncos (5-5) (SPREAD: LAC -2.5)

“My favorite bet of the week. Like it? I LOVE IT, Broncos +2.5. The Chargers have a bad defense and Denver is going to run the football and control time of possession. Denver has held their opponents under 20 in 3 of the last 4 games. The Broncos defense is a top 3 scoring defense in the league. Teddy Bridgewater doesn’t make mistakes, he has three straight games without a pick, and the Chargers can’t defend the run.The Chargers have not won consecutive games since Week 4 and 5. There are certain things in this league you have to be able to do. You have to be able to run the football at some point. Pittsburgh finally is and they’re a different team. You have to stop the run or you sit on the sidelines and watch the other offense. Justin Herbert will win and he’ll lose, then he will win and he’ll lose. This feels a lot like the Minnesota game where Justin Herbert is going to end up watching a lot of this. I’m going to take Denver straight up to win it, 28-24 over a team I love watching play, they’re just not a great ‘team’ yet, the Chargers.”

Colin's prediction: Broncos 28, Chargers 24.

Colin's pick: Denver +2.5
