What’s the Worth of Running Backs?

Mike Harmon: “The reality is, these teams agreed to these franchise tags with the CBA... You don’t have to like it but you can’t control every bit of the narrative. You can replace the position and a guy can come out of nowhere to become a leader for a team.”

Dan Beyer: “If Barkley doesn’t get his deal then why show up? The biggest thing for me when looking at running backs in the NFL is how easy we think it is to replace a guy. It’s obviously an easy position to replace, there are guys who should be thankful for what’s going on to the running back positon because that was them.”

With running backs becoming extremely replaceable the guys give their two cents on their beliefs revolving around compensation for this position.
