The Dallas Cowboys introduced their new head coach yesterday and, if we didn’t know better, we might have thought it was owner Jerry Jones naming himself for the job. Brian Schottenheimer seemed more like a prop during his introductory press conference which, unsurprisingly, was all about Jerry. It was a little bizarre watching Jerry and his son talk about themselves when the focus should have been on their new hire. Regardless, all eyes will be on the Cowboys next season, for better or worse.
Dan Patrick: “Cowboys introduced their new head coach...Jerry Jones [laughter] [rim shot]. Certainly felt like that! It felt like it was Jerry Jones being introduced as the head coach instead of Brian Schottenheimer.”
