The Detroit Lions blew a 17-point halftime lead to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game and Ben Maller thinks that head coach Dan Campbell deserves the lion's share of the blame. He also points out how the reliance on analytics was Campbell's downfall.
Ben Maller: "In this game Dan Campbell worked as a guardian angel for the 49ers which is bizarre because he's being paid by the Lions. I don't understand why he chose to do that, but he did. A couple of crucial decisions that blow the mind of the normal consumer of NFL product."
