Legendary Arizona State quarterback Jake Plummer tells Jody Oehler on The Drive he's encouraged by the program's big win over #15 Michigan State on Saturday, but he isn't ready to say the Sun Devils have officially arrived
"There can't be "Hey, we're here now, we're in the Top 25. Nah, no you're not. Not until you do some other big things. Leave no doubt, go down there (San Diego State), execute and let them know you're pissed off still from last year"
Plummer believes the Devils can keep the momentum going by improving to 3-0 with a win over the Aztecs
"I see ASU leaving no doubt. They go down and kick San Diego State's ass."
The Snake liked what he saw from his Alma Mater over the weekend against the then-15th-ranked Spartans in a 16-13 victory. Plummer feels the team took after first-year head coach Herm Edwards and kept calm down the stretch.
"We saw a team that just kept pushing -- guys were stepping up"
#23 Arizona State visits San Diego State on Saturday night. The Aztecs defeated the Devils 30-20 last September.
