Jake Plummer - That's A Next Level Throw

Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jake Plummer is impressed by rookie signal-caller, Josh Rosen.  Plummer tells Jody Oehler on The Drive

When he made that throw to Seals-Jones in the fourth quarter -- that’s a next level throw.  That’s next level, high end, NFL caliber throw.  If he keeps doing those kind of things, I think things look nice in the future

Rosen connected with tight end Ricky Seals-Jones for a 21-yard gain to move into Seahawks territory with a chance for a go ahead score and five minutes remaining in the contest

Plummer believes the Cardinals should have given the rookie QB an opportunity late in the contest to put the game away for the first win of the season

Late in the game, you go to win it.

Rosen deserved a chance a to drop back on 3rd and 6  to try extend that drive or find the endzone.

The Cardinals played it conservative by running the football three straight plays before kicker Phil Dawson missed a 45-yard field.  The following drive Seattle kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired to keep the Cardinals winless on the season.

When you’re 0-and-3 team, and you just put in the future, I believe you drop him back and let him make that play

The ASU legend is a big fan of another Cardinals rookie, wide receiver Christian Kirk

Keep gettin’ the ball to Christian Kirk.  That kid is showing me that he wants it, and wants it bad
