Kyler Murray's agent is taking to his Bar Stool Sports show 'Comeback SZN' to defend the draft prospect's honor. Eric Burkhardt who also represents new Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury, answers all the Murray haters within the league by calling the naysayers "old NFL dinosaurs."
Burkhardt says the Oklahoma product's size shouldn't be an issue and is weighing-in these days at a bulky 205 pounds.
Murray has been linked to the Cards, who possess the top pick in this spring's NFL Draft. If Burkhardt is right by saying Kyler's critics are just outdated NFL relics, should the Cardinals take a deeper look into drafting the Heisman winner at number-one?
Burkhardt's job is to promote his client and also represents new Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores. The 'Phins could be in the market for a signal-caller come draft time more than the Cards. Burkhardt also represents NFL bust Johnny Manziel, who whiffed by telling the Cleveland Browns the would "wreck this league (NFL)."
Kingsbury, GM Steve Keim and president Michael Bidwill have all voiced their commitment to Josh Rosen, but there is a ton of offseason between now and when the Cardinals turn in their draft card.
