Daydream of Zion donning the orange and purple while effortlessly throwing down ferocious pregame dunks next season for the Suns. Once Nike or another apparel company can build a sturdy enough shoe to harness the raw power of Zion, there shouldn't be anything slowing the big fella down.
The Suns are vying for the worst record in the NBA for the second straight season. The 11-win Suns take on the 12-win Cleveland Cavaliers in 'Zion Bowl 2019' tonight. The New York Knicks only have 11 wins, as well. Under the new NBA Draft Lottery system, the three worst teams in the league will each have a 14-percent chance to win the top pick in 2019. The old system gave the team with the worst record a 25-percent chance at the number-one pick.
Zion's injury isn't expected to be serious, but if it takes a turn for the worst, he still should be in the Suns draft plans.
