Top NFL Draft prospect Nick Bosa is fully healthy to participate in this weeks NFL Scouting Combine. Ian Rapoport reports Bosa is ready to go in Indianapolis and he's completely healed from the core muscle injury that he suffered at Ohio State this past college football season.
His father John tells Albert Breer at The MMQB.com:
“He’s gonna do it all,” John Bosa reiterated. “He’s anxious to show his full recovery, and then his performance along with interviews and the medical side of it, which is the most important part of it for him. He’s looking forward to it; he’s looking forward to getting checked out because he knows he’s in perfect shape. And then the testing will be interesting to watch.”
Bosa shut down his college career after just three games into his junior season with the Buckeyes following the surgery for the injury. He racked up four sacks in his short time on the playing field in 2018. The younger brother to Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher, Joey Bosa, ended his career in Columbus with 17.5 sacks and 29 tackles for a loss in three seasons.
Bosa is set to workout with the defensive linemen and linebackers on Sunday. A pair of other prospects in the discussion at number-one, Alabama interior defensive lineman Quinnen Williams and Kentucky edge rusher Josh Allen will also workout the same day as Bosa.
