Ian Rapoport's Confident Who Will Be The Cardinals QB In 2019

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport is very, very confident about who believes will be under center for the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. The always dialed-in "Rap Sheet" tells Jody Oehler he's not buying the Kyler Murray to the Cardinals hype and that the incumbent, Josh Rosen, will continue as the franchise's signal-caller.

The week began in Indianapolis with GM Steve Keim shaking the sports world to its core with an uninspiring "is Josh Rosen our quarterback? Yeah, he is right now, for sure."

Nobody was prepared for what happened next. The undersized quarterback, Kyler Murray, wasn't as undersized as we thought. He measured in at 5'10" 1/8 and a bulky 207 pounds. The Heisman winner was a similar build to Russell Wilson, and that's all the fuel this story needed to explode.

It didn't help that Josh Rosen's Instagram account was hacked and all of his Cardinals posts disappeared for a few days only to return. Murray also announced he will be visiting the Cardinals next week.

Like Rosen's 'gram getting back to normal, Rapoport's confident prediction that the second year UCLA product will get another crack at being the Cardinals franchise QB, restored order following a chaotic week.

We can now refocus to the Nick Bosa, Quinnen Williams, Josh Allen top pick debate or the strategy of moving down for more picks. The trio of defensive linemen and linebackers are set to workout on Sunday.

Checkout Jody's article on what it would take for Kyler Murray to actually become the Cardinals franchise quarterback.
