LeBron James and Phoenix Suns Switch Bodies For One Play

Let's start by saying that it's always great to watch the Los Angeles Lakers lose basketball games. This season has provided a lot of joy for Lakers haters. Let's recap. LeBron James signs with the evil empire, is spurned by other big name free agents, the Lakers sign a bunch of NBA misfits, LeBron alienates his young teammates and the team folds instead of competing for a Western Conference playoff spot. Keep smiling. The wheels fell off last night and one play sums up LBJ's first season in the putrid purple and gold.

It's like for one play "King James" and the Phoenix Suns swapped bodies in a Freaky Friday scenario on Saturday night. James carelessly doinks the inbound pass off the backboard for a turnover. The Suns beat the Lakers 118-109 last night behind 26 points and 10 rebounds from rookie big man Deandre Ayton. The loss was LA's fourth in five games, and fourth loss out of five contests against a sub-500 opponent.

The Suns and Lakers are both destined for being free of any plans during the NBA postseason. Phoenix earned just its 13th W of the season, and are just 2-18 over the last 20 games. The win over Los Angeles isn't a make good for another tank-fueled campaign, but it certainly makes for a minor victory during another major L of a season for the Suns.

Big man Richaun Holmes also added this swat of the James during the victory.
