Deandre Ayton wants to be here. Don't expect any cryptic tweets saying otherwise. The Phoenix Suns rookie big man did fans a huge favor last night by erasing Eric Bledsoe on a pair of layup attempts.
For a few briefs moments, we were all Deandre Ayton. Blocking EBled twice was nice to watch happen to the guy who tweeted his way out of Phoenix last season. Bledsoe had a rough night returning to Talking Stick Resort Arena. Fresh off signing a four-year, $70-million-dollar contract extension, Bledsoe scored just 15 points on 5-of-15 shooting, including goose egg from three at 0-for-6.
Bledsoe has the new deal, is playing for a first place team and continuing to put up solid numbers in Milwaukee, but it was great to have the young Suns give him a tough time on Monday.
The Suns rallied and shocked the Bucks with a 114-105 victory and once again sent a disgruntled Bledsoe out of Phoenix.
