Last Thursday was arguably the biggest of Steve Keim's career as General Manager of the Arizona Cardinals.
After a disastrous 2018, Keim was tasked with making the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Thousands of hours were poured into evaluation, dissection and scenarios that would help turn the Cardinals franchise around.
One thing he didn't count on was being pranked by comedian Frank Caliendo.
Caliendo joined the Dan Patrick show to tell the story about how he used his world class impersonation skills to channel his inner Jon Gruden and pepper Steve Keim's voicemail with bogus trade offers from the Raiders.
Keim took it all in stride and would call in to the Dan Patrick Show himself to explain how confusing some of the voicemails were, how tempting the bogus offers were and how he ultimately figured out that it wasn't actually the Raiders calling.
Of course, the Cardinals ended up standing pat and selecting Kyler Murray #1 overall but not without a little drama from some prank calls.
