Throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game is supposed to be a fun honor and an otherwise forgettable part of the a game's pre-game festivities.
But every now and then something goes wrong and a first pitch goes down in first pitch history. These pitches get replayed every time someone else throws a bad first pitch and the highlight will likely survive well after humans are no longer on planet Earth.
Recently retired after 15 years in the NBA, Channing Frye was invited to throw out the first at a Cleveland Indians game and not only did Frye immediately enter the Bad First Pitch Hall of Fame, he also offered the funniest explanation yet.
Frye then took to his own twitter account to offer up a hilarious platter of excuses for his dreadful first pitch effort.
Frye, the local St. Mary's product and University of Arizona star, won't live down his first pitch anytime soon but his hilarious reaction to it shows once again why he's been a fan favorite at virtually every stop of his long NBA Career.
