The Arizona Cardinals training camp from hell continued this week.
Late Thursday, reports broke that the Cardinals RB coach, James Saxon, is facing domestic battery charges from an incident in late May.
Saxon's legal trouble is another in what is becoming a long list of training camp challenges both on and off the field for Arizona.
Just this week alone, the Cardinals have seen Marquise Brown arrested for criminal speeding, injuries take several players out of action including Zach Ertz and Marco Wilson, Kyler Murray testing positive for COVID and the organization still recovering from the contract clause crisis that swallowed last week up.
On Saturday, the Cardinals will welcome what is typically the largest crowd of training camp for their annual Red and White Practice. If Kyler Murray is able to return to practice it will go a long way towards offering some positive momentum for what has been a rocky start to Cardinals training camp.
Of course, whether its the best or worst training camp ever, the actual games and their results will dictate the Cardinals season but I think everyone involved would like the catch a break in Cardinals camp sooner rather than later.
