Brady Feigl plays for the A’s & Brady Feigl also plays for the Rangers.

There’s nothing more accurate than DNA testing. However, in this instance, I’m not buying it. Not one bit. From the naked eye, it seems impossible that these guys are not brothers. Or at the very least, cousins! But DNA testing, courtesy of Inside Edition, has ‘proven’ that these two doppelgangers have no relation, except for a similar shared Germanic ancestry. Wait. WHAT?

Now, why is this such an interesting story? So what, right?! Two guys look like each other… we seem to be running into doppelganger situations more and more frequently these days as the world population skyrockets. But there’s a lot more to this story.

First of all, have you seen these two? Since 2015, they have done a few interviews together, not the least of which was Inside Edition recently, and it’s just uncanny how similar they are… not only the fact that they are each 6’4” tall, they each sport the same red beard and black rimmed glasses, they each are minor league pitchers, they each had Tommy John surgery from the SAME surgeon (Dr. James Andrews), but, um, THEY EACH HAVE THE SAME FIRST AND LAST NAMES! This is beyond uncanny!!

Meet Brady Gregory Feigl and Brady Matthew Feigl.

OK, sure, there are also differences… Brady Gregory Feigl is just 22 years old and plays in the Oakland Athletics’ farm system, whereas Brady Matthew Feigl is 27 years old and plays for the Texas Rangers’ Triple-A affiliate. Annnnd, sure, the 22 year old is a right handed pitcher, while the 27 year old is a lefty.

Bottom line, I’d love to dig further into their ‘similar Germanic ancestry’ to find out precisely where the super sperm or super egg originated… was it a Great Great Great Great Great Grandma or Grandpa once removed? Whomever it was, because yes I firmly believe they did exist somewhere down the line, had some incredible baseball DNA that will be fun to watch if these two both get called up in future years.
