NASCAR announed big changes to its 2020 schedule on Tuesday, including that a new NASCAR champion will be crowned at ISM Raceway in November 2020.
Yep. Phoenix will host the championship race for the first time ever. It all happens in 596 days.

ISM Raceway President Julie Giese, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey & NASCAR Vice Chairman Mike Helton were all on hand to make it official.
A few other changes were announced for 2020, including a July 4th race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway & a double header at Pocono Raceway.
