Sometimes journalists like to go checking police records to see if any local athletes found themselves in trouble with the law, early this morning Suns forward Josh Jackson popped up on one of those reports.
Josh was arrested in Miami at the Rolling Loud music festival because he was trying to get into a VIP area he was not supposed to be in. The kicker to the story per Andy Slater of 640 the hurricane, is that JJ apparently tried to flea from the cops after he was handcuffed.
He was charged with escape and resisting arrest.
This comes just a little more than 24 hours before the NBA draft lottery where the Suns could land in a spot with a chance to select a player that would make Josh Jackson expendable.
The former 4th overall pick has two seasons under his belt in Phoenix and averaged 11.5 pts & 4.4 rebounds in his sophomore season.
