What would you buy with your first NFL paycheck if you were a second round pick? For rookie Andy Isabella it wasn’t a whole lot. Cardinals reciever Christian Kirk and running back Chase Edmonds revealed that the former UMass star is living a simple life as a rookie.
Andy has no furniture, he has no TV, his first car he purchased after getting drafted was a 2012 Camaro with over 80,000 miles on it. Andy is the most interesting NFL player in the world.
Just reading books for fun isn’t quite how you picture the NFL lifestyle, right?
We got all these details from Isabella’s teammates at Larry Fitzgerald’s Supper Club charity dinner so of course we had to ask the Cardinals legend about the legend of Andy Isabella. We asked Larry about who the biggest eater on the team was,
“Andy Isabella has a huge appetite for such a small guy. Every time we go to dinner [we say] Andy you going to eat that too and desert,” Fitzgerald said.
Fitz even told us that Andy has not spent a dime of his signing bonus and saved his per diem money.
The rookie Wide Receiver probably just became your new favorite Cardinal.
