The Arizona Coyotes have added the cutest pup ever to their pack, the team announced Monday the adoption of Luna. A 14-month old black lab who will be trained to be a service dog in partnership with National Assistance Dogs Inc.
Luna is adorable and with the help of Jason Demers and Vinnie Hinostroza we got to meet her for the first time.
Luna will attend most Coyotes home games and make appearances around the valley too.
Coyotes President & CEO Ahron Cohen was excited to raise awareness for service dogs,
"NADI is a tremendous organization that helps veterans in our community. We are all dog lovers at the Coyotes and we hope that Luna can help raise awareness about NADI and also bring us some luck this season."
The Coyotes are not the first team to adopt a team dog either.
The San Jose Sharks, Tampa Bay Lightning and Minnesota Wild have all added good pups to their lineup this summer.
