Why the people saying Patrick Peterson won’t be traded are lying to you

The Patrick Peterson trade rumors have resurfaced thanks to reporting by Adam Schefter over the weekend,

”Sources: Cardinals are getting calls about teams inquiring about CB Patrick Peterson but they keep telling teams they’re not trading him.”

Are we stuck in a time-loop? the same rumors surfaced last season too and for a short time it seemed like things had been smoothed over but the rumors persist. According to our Kenny Sargent those rumors are not going away either,

“Two people I talked to...the Cardinals haven’t received to their liking what Patrick Peterson is worth. One person I talked two who works for a popular NFL told me that the team he works for offered a decent amount of capital but the Bidwill’s are playing hardball.”

if the deja-vu isn’t enough already, take a gander at this ESPN article from 2010 taking about Anquon Boldin being traded to the Ravens.

“The trade of Boldin has grown ever more likely since the opening of Arizona's training camp in 2008, when he accused the Cardinals' management of lying to him by promising a new contract during that offseason.

He went on to demand a trade, but the Cardinals didn't find anything to their liking a year ago.”

Chances are things wind up the same way in the PP scenario. Listen to our full conversation below.
