The Arizona Coyotes hosted the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night in Glendale and holy smokes did the Coyotes not only crush it on the ice, they crushed it in the troll game too. During a break in the action in the first period the Coyotes unveiled a brand new banner at Gila River Arena near the visitors bench.
You may not get it right away so here is the quick synopsis. The Kings play their home games at Staples Center which also hosts the Lakers, Clippers, Sparks & many big time concerts. Earlier this season the Kings thought since they haven't won anything since the banner went up at Staples Center in 2015 celebrating Swift’s 16 sold out shows at the venue they would just cover up the thing during their games. It has not helped the Kings much as they are stuck near the bottom of the NHL once again with just 17 points in 20 games entering Monday.
The Kings did not stay quiet though as they responded on Twitter with a chirp of their own.
What do you think of the Coyotes troll game? Was it legit or did the Kings get the last laugh?
